Strategy
These are the numbers TideBot uses on each pair. The operator sets the defaults. You can override them on a pair you have enabled.
Parameters
Defaults you can change per pair
| Parameter | Seed | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Trailing SL % | 2.0% | How far under the high since entry the sell sits |
| Rule A dip % | 10.0% | How far under the stop price the dip buy sits |
| Rule A buy size % | 20.0% | Share of this pair’s allocated USDT used on a Rule A dip. Not used on the first buy or on Rule B. |
| Rule B buffer % | 0.2% | How far above the stop price the bounce buy sits. That buy uses 100% of the allocation still available. |
| Max Rule A re-entries | 3 | Automatic dip buys stop after this many Rule A fills. Rule B recoveries are not counted. |
Allocation
100% means the amount you assigned to the pair
A wallet can hold 1,000 USDT while SOL is only allowed to use 200. Profit and loss on that 200 is the pair’s result. TideBot will not pull the other 800 into the SOL cycle.
No take-profit order
A runner is sold only when price comes back through the trailing stop. There is no second order sitting at a profit target.
Listed USDT pairs only
You can enable BTC, ETH, SOL, and the other majors the operator has turned on. A pair that is not on that list cannot be traded.
Trader account
Turn on a pair and set its allocation
Create an account, save a Binance spot key, enable a listed pair, and decide how much of that coin TideBot may trade. Trailing percent, Rule A size, and the Rule A cap are set on that pair.
