TideBot

Trail the high. Buy the dip on Rule A.

Binance spot on the USDT pairs your operator lists. You set how much of each coin TideBot may use. The trailing stop is the only sell.

Example while holding BTC

BTC/USDT

In position

High since entry

$68,420

Trailing stop

2.0% below high

Rule A

−10% dip

Rule B

+0.2% buffer

Example only. Trailing percent, Rule A dip, and allocation are set per pair in the trader dashboard.

Allocated

Spends only the coin amount you assign to that pair

No TP

Sells only when price breaks the trail under the high

20% / 100%

Rule A uses a slice. Rule B and the first buy use the rest of that allocation

Rule A only

The re-entry cap ignores Rule B so it stops chasing a falling coin

What happens after you enable a pair

BTC/USDT and SOL/USDT never share a position. While a pair is in position, TideBot will not add another buy on top of it.

  1. 01

    Enter

The first buy, and any force re-entry, uses 100% of the USDT you allocated to that pair — not the rest of the wallet.

  2. 02

    Trail

Each new high lifts the stop. A 2% trail under an 86,000 high sits at 84,280. There is no take-profit.

  3. 03

    Stop

When price trades through that stop, TideBot sells and emails you. Rule A and Rule B both arm off that stop price.

  4. 04

    Re-enter

Rule A buys a configured dip with only its size %. Rule B buys a small bounce with 100% of what is still allocated. The first fill cancels the other.

  5. 05

    Cap

Only Rule A fills count toward the max. After that many dip buys, automatic dips pause until you force a new entry.

Two buys wait. Only one is allowed to fill.

The stop price becomes the reference. Rule A sits further below it. Rule B sits a small buffer above it. Whichever price prints first is the new entry, and the trail starts again from that fill.

Trail

The stop follows the high

TideBot does not sell because a target was hit. It sells when price falls a fixed percent under the highest price since this entry.

  • ✓ Default trail is 2% under that high. You can change it per pair.
  • ✓ One open spot position per pair. No adding while already in.
  • ✓ Every buy and every sell sends you an email.

Re-entry

Rule A is the dip. Rule B is the bounce.

If you allocated 200 USDT to SOL, that 200 is the whole budget for the pair. Rule A might spend 20% of what is left. Rule B spends all of what is left.

  • ✓ Default dip is 10% under the stop. Default bounce buffer is 0.2% above it.
  • ✓ The max count increases only on Rule A, so a coin that keeps falling is not chased by recovery buys.
  • ✓ The fill price is the new entry. The trail is recalculated from there.

Trailing SL % = exit below high  ·  Rule A = dip below stop trigger  ·  Rule B = buffer above stop trigger

The coins stay on your Binance account

TideBot stores an encrypted API key and asks Binance to place spot orders. It does not hold a balance and it cannot withdraw.

Spot key only

Create the key with trading enabled and withdrawals off. TideBot encrypts it for your account.

Dry run and testnet

Operators can run the worker without sending orders, or point it at Binance testnet, before mainnet.

Sign-in checks

Login needs an email code. A new account stays out until the email is verified. An idle session ends after one hour.

Trader account

Turn on a pair and set its allocation

Create an account, save a Binance spot key, enable a listed pair, and decide how much of that coin TideBot may trade. Trailing percent, Rule A size, and the Rule A cap are set on that pair.
